Martian Magnetospheric Disturbance Index (MDI)

This index is designed to serve as a way to quantitatively determine the disturbance caused by solar transit events such as stream interaction regions (SIRs) and interplanetary coronal mass ejections (ICMEs) to the Martian magnetosphere.
